BrioHost Privacy Policy

BrioHost's policies and procedures for handling customer information have been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods are continuing to evolve to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies. As a result, BrioHost's policies and procedures are subject to change.

In the course of serving its customers, BrioHost acquires, stores and transmits customer communications and information that customers may regard as private or sensitive. Some of this information - such as the customer's name, address, telephone number, and credit card data - is provided to BrioHost by its customers in order to establish service. Other information - such as the customer's account status, choice of services, and customer logs - is created and maintained by BrioHost in the normal course of providing service. In addition, BrioHost may store customers' electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

What information do we collect?

The information that BrioHost collects on this site is for continued improvement to this site. This information is reviewed periodically to determine which pages are of interest, which pages should be removed or modified, and to assist in assessing which features should or should not be included in the web page design. Our web servers do not collect your e-mail address and your information will not be sold, shared, or rented in any way.

When you sign up for BrioHost services, you provide us with both contact and payment information. Contact information typically includes your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. Payment information typically includes your credit card number or check routing number. While you are a BrioHost customer, we manage your account status, choice of services, and customer logs. In addition, we may store customers' electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

Data Security

BrioHost will protect the confidentiality of its customers' information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of BrioHost, its partners, its employees and other customers of BrioHost's services. To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, BrioHost has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place.

How do we use this information?

We use the contact information you provide us to establish our service for you. We use payment information for payment processing purposes only. We create and maintain other information such as customer account status, choice of services, and customer logs in the normal course of providing service.

BrioHost disclaims any intention to censor, edit, or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through its facilities by customers or others. BrioHost will, however, review, delete, or block access to communications that may harm BrioHost or its customers. The grounds on which BrioHost may take such action include, but are not limited to, actual or potential violations of Briohost's Terms of Use.
