SMTP Authentication

Your account with BrioHost requires that you authenticate (provide a username and password) before you are allowed to send email through your servers here. Most email clients provide settings to authenticate before you send email. The username and password you need to provide is the same username and password you use to check your POP3 or IMAP account.

Username: address@yourdomain.com
Password: Set in BCC (BrioHost control center)

Setting up SMTP Authentication for Outlook

1). In Outlook Express: Click on 'tools' then 'accounts'.
2). Select the account you want to modify (highlight it) and click 'Properties'.
3). Select the 'Servers' tab at the top. Check 'My Server Requires Authentication'.
4). Click 'Apply' and then click 'OK'.
